Took up carpet in the remodel, it looks amazing. What a difference it makes! Who would have thought there were beautiful hardwood floors in here. I noticed some funky wall paper under the trim as well. That has either been long-since peeled or painted over. I love imagining this place decades ago with the green floral wallpaper, oak floors and white fire place in a former life. You learn so much when you take things apart and put them back together.
